Jim Stonehouse has a diverse range of work experience. Jim started their career as a Recruiter in the United States Marine Corps from January 2011 to March 2014. Jim then transitioned to become a Network Analyst in the Marines from July 2001 to October 2016, where they gained leadership and management skills while leading groups of 5-30 Marines.

After leaving the Marines, Jim joined ENA in 2016 as a Senior Customer Support Network Engineer. In this role, they provided direct support and troubleshooting for customers, specializing in LAN/WAN management and configuring Cisco devices. Jim also worked as a Voice Engineer at ENA from February 2021, where they designed, implemented, and handled support escalations for Metaswitch Voice Over IP (VOIP) deployments.

Most recently, Jim started working at Sparkplug IP in June 2022 as a Voice Engineer, focusing on voice technologies.

Jim Stonehouse obtained their Bachelor's degree in History from Loyola University Chicago, completing their studies from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Yealink Certified IP Phone Engineer from Yealink since June 2022, a HDI Technical Support Professional from HDI since February 2017, a Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council since June 2015, and a Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing and Switching) from Cisco since April 2015.
