Keith Thompson

Keith Thompson has held various roles throughout their work experience. Keith began their career in 2005 as a Teacher at Sarasota County Schools. Keith then moved on to Austin Independent School District in 2008, where they continued as a Teacher until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Teacher at Pflugerville ISD. In 2014, they joined Taylor ISD as a Principal/Assistant Principal, a position they held until 2019. Most recently, they have been employed at Education Service Center Region 13 since 2019. Keith started as a Project Coordinator - Center for Effective Schools and is currently serving as the Associate Director of Leadership Initiatives.

Keith Thompson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from PennWest Edinboro in the years 2001 to 2005. Keith further pursued their education and completed their Master of Education - MEd in Administration at Lamar University from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Keith has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including "Be the Manager People Won't Leave," "Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers," "Holding Yourself Accountable," "Leadership Tips, Tactics, and Advice," and "Project Management Skills for Leaders," all obtained in November 2022.
