Janice Weinman

Janice Weinman Shorenstein is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Education Through Music since September 2021, Shorenstein has previously held significant positions including Chief Executive Officer at Hadassah from June 2012 to July 2021, and at Kids In Distressed Situations from June 2003 to June 2012. Other notable roles include Senior Consultant at the U.S. Department of Education in 1999, Chief Executive Officer of the American Association of University Women from January 1997 to January 1999, and Executive Vice President at The College Board from September 1990 to December 1996.
