Annie Thu Pan Truong possesses extensive experience in various roles primarily within the banking and educational sectors. Currently serving as a Local Coordinator at Education, Travel & Culture since September 2015, Annie provides crucial support to students and host families while recruiting and inspecting potential host families. Prior roles include serving as a Relationship Banker at JPMorgan Chase, where Annie achieved significant growth in customer balances, and as a Personal Banker at Bank of America, focusing on building customer relationships and selling banking products. Earlier in the career, Annie held positions as an Executive Assistant at Asian Health & Service Center, where support was provided to senior executives, and as an Administrative Program Specialist at Portland State University, overseeing recruitment and financial management. We are a family comprised of hundreds of employees, independent contractors, volunteers, and host families who are passionate about education, travel, and culture. Since 1998, ETC has provided opportunities for high school students around the world to study in an American high school and live with an American family. Today, we are privileged to connect students from 13 different countries with loving volunteer host families across the U.S. for either a semester or academic school year. ETC maintains a professional staff at its main office in Portland, Oregon and also has a network of volunteers and Local Coordinators throughout the country that serve as the local support for the students, host families, and schools.
