Elizabeth Bird

Elizabeth Bird has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Elizabeth is currently working as the Director of Public Policy at Educational Alliance. Prior to this, they worked at the Office of the New York City Comptroller, where they held the positions of Senior Policy Analyst and Policy Analyst. Elizabeth also has experience working at the NYC Department of Education as a Senior Data Manager, where they managed the rollout of a student data tool and provided coaching and training for school improvement. Elizabeth has also worked as a Project Coordinator at Good Jobs New York, a Project Associate at the Mayor's Office of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability, a Freelance Writer at The Municipal Art Society of New York, an Intern with Senior Policy Advisor at Pratt Center for Community Development, a Freelance web editor at New York Academy of Sciences, and a Senior Production Editor at Praxis Press, Inc.

Elizabeth Bird earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Wheaton College between 1994 and 1997. From 2002 to 2007, they attended Pratt Institute, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Environmental Systems Management.
