Mariano Wainsztein

Mariano Wainsztein is an experienced educator and filmmaker, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor and Academic Advisor at Hunter College since April 2017. In addition to these roles, Mariano functions as a Filmmaker in Residence at Reel Works since January 2021 and has been a Teaching Artist at the Educational Alliance since June 2016. Mariano also contributed as a Media Teacher at the Educational Video Center in 2021. Holding a Master of Fine Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Hunter College, earned between 2006 and 2011, Mariano brings a strong academic background and practical expertise to the field of media education and filmmaking.
