Richard Baum

Richard Baum currently serves as President and CEO of Educational Alliance, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Richard Baum had a significant tenure at New York University, where responsibilities included Chief of Staff to the President and Associate Vice President for University Enterprise Initiatives from November 2011 to June 2023. Experience also includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at the New York Academy of Sciences and Secretary to the Governor in the New York State Executive Chamber. Richard Baum's early career features leadership roles such as Chief of Staff for the New York State Attorney General and Campaign Manager for Spitzer for Attorney General. Richard Baum began public service as Minority Leader of the Orange County Legislature. Richard Baum holds a Bachelor's Degree from Cornell University, earned in January 1992.
