Joshua Wead

Joshua Wead has served as Vice Principal and Dean of Students at Educational Pathways Academy since August 2022. Prior experience includes ownership and management of Mattress Direct Naples from September 2020 to July 2022, where Joshua managed all business operations. From August 2019 to September 2020, Joshua was an Executive Assistant for a New York Times best-selling author, responsible for research, proofreading, and meeting transcription. Joshua's earlier role as Dean of Students at Canyonville Academy (2012 - 2019) involved significantly increasing student retention and managing school operations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University, completed in 2016.

Educational Pathways Academy

Educational Pathways Academy (EPA) is a non-profit, private Christian school in Southwest Florida that specializes in the academic, social, and emotional development of students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning disabilities, such as dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, & auditory and visual processing disorders. Educational Pathways Academy's Comprehensive Approach to Learning is designed to effectively address the needs and challenges of students with learning differences and to instill a love of learning by nurturing their talents and strengths. EPA offers small classroom sizes and utilizes evidence-based methods and approaches such as Orton-Gillingham (OG) instruction, individualized education, hands-on, multi-sensory activities, assistive technology, and more to provide pathways of success for students with learning disabilities. Educational Pathways Academy has two campus locations that serve students and families in both Lee and Collier counties. EPA’s founding campus, known as Frey Campus, is located in Naples, Florida, and serves grades 1–8. In 2022, EPA opened its second campus in Estero, Florida. This campus serves grades 3–12.
