Joe Weitz

Joe Weitz has a diverse work experience in various sectors such as education, libraries, and leadership programs. Joe worked in roles such as Director of Communications, Policy & Grants Advancement at the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio, Library/Research Consultant at the Ohio Department of Education, and Executive Assistant to the State Librarian at the State Library of Ohio. Additionally, Joe was a participant in the Leadership Ohio program as a Leader in the Class of 2019.

Joe Weitz completed their Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with a minor in Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University in 2003. Joe then pursued a Master's degree in Library and Information Science with a focus in Management & Technology from Kent State University, graduating in 2007. In 2011, they furthered their education by studying Public Policy at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University. Additionally, Joe has obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and an Administrative Specialist License in Educational Research.
