Emily Nelson

Emily Nelson is an experienced education and student support professional with a strong background in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Student Support at Educational Service District 105 since August 2019, Emily has held multiple positions within the organization, including Student Support Director and Student Support Program Manager. Prior to this, Emily worked as a Student Assistance Professional at ESD105/Highland School District and spent over a decade at Merit Resource Services as a Clinical Supervisor, holding relevant licenses as a Certified Drug Prevention Specialist and a Washington State Certified Genetic Counselor. Emily's educational credentials include a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of the Southwest and ongoing studies towards a Superintendent Certification in Educational Leadership at Western Washington University. Additionally, Emily earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Central Washington University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Chemical Dependency from Yakima Valley College.
