Greg Davis is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and educational assessment. Currently serving as a Middle School Teacher at Winlock Middle School since August 2017, Greg instructs students in earth and space science, mathematics for 7th and 8th grades, and World Cultures and Languages. In addition, since 2007, Greg has worked with the Educational Testing Service (ETS) as a Rater and Scoring Leader, overseeing the evaluation of the speaking components of the TOEFL and serving as a Score Lead for both the SAT and Texas STAAR assessments. Previously, from 2000 to 2010, Greg owned IDEALS, a business focused on recruiting international students for U.S. schools and providing tutoring and academic counseling. Greg also has a history of teaching English as a Second Language at Portland State University from 1994 to 2006. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from Western Governors University, a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Portland State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Walla Walla University.
