Jingpei Lu is a graduate student researcher at the UCSD Advanced Robotics and Controls Lab, specializing in state estimation, 3D reconstruction, and surgical vision since November 2019. Jingpei holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Vision and Robotics, a Master of Science in Intelligent System, Robotics, and Control, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, all from UC San Diego. Additionally, Jingpei has gained practical experience as a computer vision intern at Intuitive in early 2024 and as a robotics R&D intern at ABB from June to September 2023.
