Mark McCormack has a diverse range of work experience in the field of analytics and research. Mark started their career as a Database and Public Relations Associate at the Nashville Symphony in 2008. In 2011, they worked as a Research Consultant at Edvantia, Inc. and the General Board of Discipleship. From 2013 to 2017, they held the position of Director of Research & Evaluation at the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry. During the same period, they also worked as a Researcher at Vanderbilt Peabody College. In 2016, they became a Research Consultant at the Barbershop Harmony Society. Currently, they serve as the Senior Director of Analytics & Research at EDUCAUSE.
Mark McCormack completed their education in a chronological order. From 2000 to 2004, they attended Belmont University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in the Social Scientific Study of Religion at Vanderbilt University from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they enrolled at Vanderbilt University again and obtained a Master of Science degree in Community Psychology between 2010 and 2012. Continuing their studies, they completed their education at Vanderbilt University with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Community Psychology from 2010 to 2015.
In addition to their academic achievements, Mark McCormack also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they received a Professional Training Certification from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). In 2018, they obtained a ROI Institute Certification from ROI Institute, Inc. Finally, in May 2019, they completed Methodology Training at the Institute for the Future, further enhancing their expertise.
