Desirea L. Hughes

Desirea L. Hughes has had a long and varied career in Human Resources and Recruiting. Desirea L. began in 1992 as a Legal Assistant at McCarter & English, LLP. In 1995, they served as a Senior Legislative Aide and Research Associate at the New Jersey Assembly Democratic Office. From 1999 to 2005, they worked as a Recruiting Specialist and then Recruiting Manager at Thomas & Herbert Consulting and Paradigm Solutions, respectively. In 2010, they became a Senior Recruiting Manager at ER Williams, Inc. From 2016 to 2017, they served as Director of Talent Acquisition at Pro-Sphere Tek and then as a Senior Technical Recruiter at 2HB Incorporated. Since 2019, they have been the Senior Director of HR & Business Operations at Educology Solutions. Throughout their career, they have provided direction for the management of HR policies, procedures, services, and systems, including compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and staff development. Desirea L. has also written job descriptions and ads to promote position openings, utilized on-line candidate search engines and/or websites, and provided Human Resources with recruiting metrics and other data points to leadership.

Desirea L. Hughes attended Virginia State University from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History.
