Emma Hobday has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Emma currently works as an Engineer at eduMe since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Instructional Associate at General Assembly from July 2020 to July 2021, where they facilitated workshops and developed lesson resources for student support. Emma also completed a Software Engineering Immersive bootcamp course at General Assembly from February 2020 to April 2020. Emma Hobday has previous teaching experience at Sandringham Primary School, where they held various roles such as Science Leader, Class Teacher, Year Group Leader, and Computing Subject Leader from 2012 to 2019. Emma also worked as a Family Information Officer and Administrator at London Borough of Richmond upon Thames from 2008 to 2011, and as a Records Assistant at Bristol City Council from 2007 to 2008.

Emma Hobday began their education journey at the University of Warwick, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from 2004 to 2007. Emma then pursued further studies at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, where they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specializing in Primary education from 2011 to 2012. In 2020, Emma attended General Assembly and completed an immersive program in Software Engineering.
