Timothy Winders is currently an advisor at EduNav, but they spent many years as the associate dean of information technology at South Plains College. In this role, they provided IT leadership and vision, planned and executed strategic IT initiatives, and was responsible for all aspects of IT budgeting, design, implementation and support. Timothy also trained and supervised network and ERP support personnel, and provided guidance while encouraging independent decisions.

Winders has always been interested in technology and its potential to help people achieve their goals. Timothy believes that education is a powerful tool for change, and they are passionate about helping others navigate the ever-changing landscape of technology. Timothy is excited to be working with EduNav to help students reach their full potential.

Dr. Timothy Winders is a candidate for a Doctor of Philosophy in Technology, Leadership & Innovation at Purdue University. Timothy also holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology from The Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Winders also has a High School Diploma from Stevenson School. In addition, they have certification from PeopleCert in ITIL Foundation Level, LinkedIn in Understanding and Supporting LGBTQ+ Employees, Purdue University in TRIO Support Services Content Champion, EDUCAUSE in Proposal Reviewer Plus 2021, CITI Program in Group 2.Social Behavioral Research Investigators and Key Personnel, and CITI Program in Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training - Faculty, Postdoctoral, and Graduate Students.
