Don Doehla, MA, NBCT, has extensive experience in world language education, serving as the Director and Teacher Trainer for the Berkeley World Language Project since 1988. In addition to planning the annual CLTA-CWLP Summer Seminar at UC Santa Barbara, Don has been a facilitator for Edutopia, specializing in world languages. Key roles include teaching French at Vintage High School from 2005 to 2017, where responsibilities encompassed being the World Languages Department Chair, instructional coach, and project-based learning specialist. Prior teaching experience includes positions at Vallejo High School and McClymond's High School. Don holds a Master's degree in French and Francophone Studies from UC Santa Barbara and has undertaken extensive international studies, further contributing to professional development and workshops in language education.
