Sean Medlin

Sean Medlin has extensive experience in project management and engineering, particularly within the nuclear power sector. Currently serving as the International Bids Team Leader at Edvance since April 2020, Sean leads a team of 16 engineers and technicians and has successfully liaised with international clients to standardize bids, thereby reducing design costs. Prior to this role, Sean held various positions at EDF from November 2009 to April 2020, including Project Manager and Contract Manager for the Hinkley Point C project, where responsibilities included high-value contract negotiations and stakeholder compliance. Sean's engineering expertise was further demonstrated in roles as Site Engineer and Civil Engineer on significant nuclear projects, including Flamanville 3 and Taishan. Sean holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Leeds.
