Edward J. Minskoff is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Edward J. Minskoff Equities, Inc., which he formed in 1987. Previously, Mr. Minskoff was the Chief Executive Officer of Olympia & York USA, which he founded together with Canada’s Reichmann family in 1976 and built into the largest property developer in North America by 1986. From among the dozens of iconic property transactions he has supervised across the United States of approximately 40 million square feet, the development of Manhattan’s 7.5 million square foot World Financial Center is the largest and most recognizable.
Mr. Minskoff is a Trustee of the NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City and the Vice-Chairman of the NYU School of Medicine Foundation. Mr. Minskoff is also a Trustee of MOCA, the only museum in Los Angeles devoted to contemporary art, and a board member of or advisor to several other institutions and organizations. He is the recipient of the honorary Doctor of Business degree from Michigan State University in addition to numerous other awards and accolades for his real estate achievements and philanthropic activities.
Mr. Minskoff is a competitive squash player, an avid golfer and a passionate collector of 20th and 21st century art.
