James Herbert Powell

James Herbert Powell, AAMS™, is a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones since February 2023 and previously served as a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company from May 2014 to January 2023. In addition to their financial career, Powell has a strong commitment to community service, holding the title of Knight of Magistral Grace with the Order of Malta since January 2021, where efforts focus on assisting the sick and poor. As Knight Commander and Section President of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem since November 2018, Powell oversees development and member relations in the Diocese of Toledo, OH. Earlier, Powell served as a 21B Combat Engineer and IED Hunter with the US Army Corps of Engineers from November 2004 to January 2006, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety of troops in the Greater Baghdad area. Powell holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Bowling Green State University, obtained in 2008.
