Jarrod Dunbar

Jarrod Dunbar is a financial advisor at Edward Jones, a position held since July 2020. In addition, Jarrod serves as Chairperson for the City of Thomasville Parks and Recreation Department and has been a Committee Member for Davidson County Parks and Recreation Department since June 2017. Previous roles include Board Member for Smart Start of Davidson County and Steering Committee Member for United Way of Davidson County. From September 2016 to December 2019, Jarrod directed the Thomasville Tourism Commission and taught as an adjunct professor at Davidson County Community College from 2016 to 2018. Jarrod's extensive experience in the Tom A. Finch Community YMCA included serving as Director of Membership, Outreach and Operations Associate, and Assistant Director of Child Care. Academically, Jarrod holds a Master of Science in Parks and Recreation Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from St Andrews Presbyterian College.
