Director, Finance at Edward Jones

Mike Woerner has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mike began their career as a Junior Staff Accountant at Boone County National Bank in 1996 and then worked as an Experienced Staff Auditor at Arthur Andersen from 2000 to 2002. Mike joined Edward Jones in 2002 as a Finance Manager for the International division and held the role until 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they served as the Financial Accounting Manager at Cable and Wireless (Cayman Islands) Ltd. Mike then worked as a Hedge Fund Operations professional at UBS Fund Services (Cayman) Ltd./Baraud International from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they became the Corporate Accounting Manager at Vero Insurance New Zealand. Returning to Edward Jones in 2009, they held the role of Senior Manager - Financial Strategies and Analysis until May 2014. From May 2014 to December 2015, they led a team as the Director of Firm Analytics, focusing on turning data into actionable insights. In December 2015, they were promoted to the role of Director of Firm Operational Excellence, where they designed and delivered an ideal experience for Edward Jones' clients and branch teams. In January 2018, they took on the position of Director - Operations, responsible for leading Edward Jones' operational excellence strategy. In 2019, Mike Woerner became the Director - Finance at Edward Jones.

Mike Woerner completed their education at the University of Missouri-Columbia, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting in the year 2000. Mike also went on to earn a Master's degree in Accounting from the same university in the same year. In addition to their academic achievements, Mike Woerner has also obtained certifications such as Securities Registrations (Series 7 and Series 66) from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in April 2018 and the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Missouri in July 2003.
