Patrick Chavez, CIPP/US, IGP, is a strategic legal advisor with nearly 30 years of experience in privacy, technology, and cybersecurity. Patrick served as an associate at Moser & Marsalek, P.C. and Williams Venker & Sanders LLC, eventually becoming a partner at the latter. After working as a law clerk and associate at Beach Burcke Helfers Mittleman & Stewart, Patrick took on the role of Chief Privacy Officer and Associate General Counsel at Edward Jones in 2014. Patrick holds a Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Philosophy and Political Science from Southwestern University.
