Clare McHugh

Clare McHugh is a professional with extensive experience in regulatory affairs and biomedical engineering. At Edwards Lifesciences, Clare served as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist from July 2019 to August 2023, contributing to regulatory strategies within the medical device field. Prior roles include Regulatory Affairs Specialist and Clinical and Regulatory Rotational Associate at Penn State University, where Clare supported the development of a pump for patients with failing Fontan circulation and collaborated on GLP studies at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. In addition, Clare gained experience as a Medical Device Regulatory Research Intern at NSF International, focusing on FDA and international regulations, and as a Research and Development Intern at Essential Medical, Inc., working on a vascular device. Clare holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
