Da-Yu Chang

Da-Yu Chang is a highly experienced engineering leader in the medical device industry, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Engineering for Surgical Structural Heart R&D at Edwards Lifesciences since April 2007. Chang has successfully led cross-functional teams in the development of next-generation surgical valves, earning nominations for prestigious awards such as the 2019/2020 Prix Galien. Prior experience includes roles as a Principal Engineer focused on significant products like the Carpentier-Edwards PERIMOUNT Aortic Valve and consulting positions at StimDesigns, LLC, and Sage North America. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, along with a Master's and Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
