Joel B. German

Joel B. German is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Intellectual Property Counsel at Edwards Lifesciences since November 2017, Joel has previously held significant positions, including Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Allergan from 2005 to 2017, and Director of Patent Counsel in Biotechnology & Genomics at Sanofi from 2003 to 2005. Joel's career began at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP as an Associate from 1998 to 2003. Joel holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College.
