Pooja Sharma Rao

Pooja Sharma Rao is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in marketing, strategy, and program management, having served as Senior Vice President at Edwards Lifesciences from September 2021 to January 2024. Prior to this, Pooja held various roles including Vice President and Senior Vice President in strategy and program management at the same company. Early in the career, Pooja gained experience as a Biomedical Engineering Intern at Advanced Bionics, where research focused on the Occipital Nerve's path in migraine studies, leading to the authorship of a peer-reviewed scientific paper and contributions to several invention disclosures. Pooja completed a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical-Biochemical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2007.
