Sharmila Balasubramaniam is a seasoned professional in market development and marketing, currently serving as the Senior Manager for Market Development in the Asia Pacific region at Edwards Lifesciences since January 2023. Previously, Sharmila held the role of Country Marketing Manager at GSK from October 2021 to December 2022, and spent over 14 years at Sanofi in various managerial positions, including Channel Development & Project Manager and Senior Product Manager. Sharmila's expertise encompasses portfolio management, customer segmentation, and the implementation of operational tactics to enhance market penetration. Sharmila holds an MBA in Marketing from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the National University of Malaysia.
