Karen Pyarali

Karen Pyarali has extensive work experience in various roles related to finance, business administration, and computer consulting. Karen began their career as a Computer Consultant at Scheffel & Company Computer Services, P.C. in 1988, where they automated small to medium-sized businesses and provided training and support. Karen then moved on to Accounting Automation Services in 1994, where they were self-employed and provided accounting software solutions to clients while also handling marketing and management tasks. In 1996, they worked as a Computer Consultant at Strohmeyer, Barton & Associates, providing hardware and software solutions to clients and writing training procedures. From 2002 until 2018, they held the position of Executive Assistant at Edwardsville YMCA, where they supported the organization in administrative tasks. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Business Administrator at Edwardsville YMCA, responsible for financial operations. Currently, they hold the position of Finance Director at Edwardsville YMCA.

Karen Pyarali earned an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Kaskaskia College between the years 1983 and 1985. Karen then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, completing their studies from 1985 to 1987.
