Bruce Bloomster

Bruce Bloomster has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Bruce is currently serving as the Sales Director at Edwin Bohr Electronics since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at HARTING as the Industry Segment Manager for Railroads from January 2022 to January 2023. From February 2019 to January 2022, they held the position of Project Manager at Wabtec Corporation.

Bruce worked at GE Transportation for a significant duration, starting from May 2011 to January 2022. In this company, they held two roles simultaneously. Bruce began as the Senior Project Manager from March 2014 to January 2022, where their responsibilities centered around executing contracts for battery electric and LNG locomotives. Additionally, they served as the Commercial Operations P&L Leader for Marine and Stationary Products from May 2011 to March 2014. As the P&L Leader, they were responsible for proposals, contracting, managing cost and product data, and supporting business-wide simplification efforts.

Before joining GE Transportation, Bruce was the Sales & Marketing Manager at The Warren Company from May 2006 to February 2011. Prior to that, they worked at Spectrum Control in multiple roles. Bruce served as the Product Marketing Manager from 2001 to 2006 and as a Product/Process/Project/Design Engineer from 1994 to 2001.

Bruce's early career includes roles as a Contract Design Engineer at GE Transportation in 1994-1995 and as an Engineering Project Leader at Lumitek Development in 1992-1993.

Bruce Bloomster obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio Northern University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987. Bruce then pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration at Colorado State University from 1999 to 2001.
