Barthelemy Jobert, M.A., Ph.D., is an art history Professor at Paris-Sorbonne and its president since 2012. He was Vice President of its Scientific Advisory Board from 2008 to 2012, and since spring 2010, he had served as Professor in charge of Research Policy within the framework of Sorbonne Universités. He is also the Vice-President of the Committe of French Research Universities. He specializes in the art of 19th century Europe and has curated exhibitions in various institutions in France and abroad, including the Louvre Museum, National Library of France, Museum of Grenoble and more. He serves as a board member on the International University Campus in Paris, the French House in Oxford Committee, the French Center of the University of Saarbrücken and holds additional board and jury appointments as well.
