John Skinner

John Skinner is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Cybersecurity Lead Instructor at edX, where responsibilities include teaching a comprehensive Cybersecurity Boot Camp at the University of Kansas. With experience at Balfour Beatty US as an Information Security Analyst and prior work as a Security Operations Center Analyst at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas, John Skinner has developed expertise in key areas of cybersecurity, including network analysis, secure network design, ethical hacking, and programming. John Skinner holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Security from Colorado Technical University.
