Syed Awais Ali

Syed Awais Ali is a highly experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in cloud development and software engineering. Currently engaged with 2U and edX since July 2021 and September 2016, respectively, Syed also holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Arbisoft. Previous experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at dinCloud from July 2012 to August 2016, where contributions were made to the Cloud Development Team. As a Community Contributor to OpenStack from January 2014 to June 2015, Syed ranked among the top 30 contributors within the community. Further, Syed developed Zenpacks for the ZENOSS open-source networking management tool during a project at the HPC and engaged in SDN development at WiSNet Lab. Academically, Syed holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences and completed earlier education at Edward's College and Saint Mary's High School.
