Angela Kalcec, M.M. M.Ed has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Angela is currently working at eDynamic Learning as the Executive Director/Head of School since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Secondary SEL Manager at Midland Public Schools from March 2022 to October 2022.

Angela has significant experience working at Stride, Inc. where they held the position of Academic Administrator/Instructional Coach from August 2013 to March 2022. In this role, they were responsible for managing online learning for over 1.4K students statewide. Angela collaborated with the Michigan Department of Education to ensure compliance and designed online learning tracks for students. Angela provided professional development and conducted evaluations using the 5D model. Angela managed discipline and parent issues using the PBIS and MTSS frameworks, and created intervention protocols for struggling online students. Angela also managed all 9-12 504 plans and piloted the 7 Mindsets SEL Curriculum for Insight Schools. Additionally, they created the Mentor Track program to attain and retain great teachers. Angela was appointed to coach the first ONLINE FAME team in the state of Michigan and collaborated to create a Credit Recovery Program, recovering over 2K credits for at-risk students.

Before joining Stride, Inc., Angela worked as a K-12 Educator at Celina City Schools from 2007 to 2013.

Angela Kalcec, M.M. M.Ed has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and degrees. Angela began their educational journey at Saginaw Valley State University between 1997 and 2002, earning a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with a focus on Secondary Education and Teaching. In 2006, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Education from Kent State University, which they completed in 2008.

In 2013, Angela further enhanced their educational qualifications by obtaining a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Michigan State University. Angela completed this program in 2015.

Angela's commitment to education continued, as they pursued a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Minnesota State University Moorhead, starting in 2020. Currently, they are still pursuing this degree.

In addition to their formal degrees, Angela has acquired certifications to strengthen their professional skills. Angela obtained a Certificate in Change Management from the prestigious Harvard Business School. Furthermore, they accomplished the Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace certification from Coursera in January 2022. Angela also possesses K-12 Certified Michigan Administrator and Teacher certifications from the State of Michigan, as well as a K-12 Minnesota Administrator certification from the Minnesota Department of Education.
