Andres P. is an experienced journalist specializing in energy policy and environmental reporting. Currently serving as a Congress and Energy Policy Reporter for E&E News since June 2022, Andres has covered energy policy on Capitol Hill and previously held a fellowship at POLITICO/E&E News, where a range of stories on energy, environmental regulations, and climate change were produced. Prior experience includes roles as a General Assignment/Breaking News Reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle and an Education Reporter for the San Antonio Express-News, both gained through Hearst fellowships. Additional engagements include reporting at The New York Times Student Journalism Institute and contributing to investigative projects with the Boston Globe Media's Spotlight Team. Andres holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University.
