Phil Swinbank

Phil Swinbank has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 1998. Phil started their career as a Computer Technician/Developer at Leisure Finance plc, where they were responsible for developing Oracle Developer 2000 applications and supporting a Windows NT network over 2 sites. Phil then moved to IMServ Europe Limited in 2001, where they were an Analyst Programmer responsible for development in all of IMServ's systems, over the whole product lifecycle. In 2006, Phil worked as a Web Developer at Mediahawk Limited, where they deployed a new development environment and version control system based on FreeBSD, Apache, PHP4/5, MySQL and Subversion. Phil also worked as a Consultant at Runeware Limited and the British Origami Society, where they implemented bespoke e-commerce web sites and customised software to requirements using PHP and SQL respectively. In 2007, Phil worked as an Application Support/Development at Intervet UK Limited, and then as a Senior Developer at Car Shops Limited from 2011 to 2022. Phil is currently a Senior Developer at EeBria / EeBriaTrade.

Phil Swinbank has a long educational history. Phil completed their HNC Mechanical and Production Engineering at the University of Bedfordshire from 1992 to 1996. Phil then went on to The Open University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned their BSc (Hons) in both Information Technology and Computing and Mechanical and Production Engineering.
