Joanne Okesene

Joanne Okesene is an experienced contract and project manager with a strong background in telecommunications and infrastructure. Currently serving as Contract Manager at the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority since June 2019, Joanne focuses on developing relationships with service providers for the Warmer Kiwi Homes programme. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager at Connect8, where responsibilities encompassed comprehensive project management of civil infrastructure projects, and Regional Manager at Visionstream NZ, leading teams to achieve project targets. Joanne also has extensive experience at Kordia Solutions NZ as Team Leader/Project Manager and has held significant positions at Auckland Regional Transport Ltd, Industrial Research Ltd, and Telecom New Zealand. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Auckland and a BBus in Management.
