Michael Papps currently serves as a Contract Manager and Supplier Engagement Lead at EECA (Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority) since June 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Z Energy NZ from October 2018 to May 2023, including Business Analyst, Procurement Support, Customer Operations Coordinator, and Customer Operations Manager. Michael's career in sports includes being a Professional Sportsman for Cricket Wellington from October 2011 to April 2018 and the Canterbury Cricket Association from March 1999 to April 2011, as well as representing New Zealand Cricket as a BlackCap from February 2004 to June 2008. Early experience also includes working as a Customer Services Officer at ANZ in 2012. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Massey University (2009-2011) and a Foundation Certificate in Project Management (Prince2) obtained in 2018. Educational background includes graduating from Shirley Boys High School between 1993 and 1997.
