Stefan has experience in various technical roles including as an engineer at Heerema Marine Contractors and Maersk Line. Stefan also has experience as an instructor at MooiWeer BV, where Stefan guided participants in outdoor activities and ensured their safety. Stefan holds a Bachelor of Maritime Operations from Maritiem Instituut "Willem Barentsz".
