Maria Salacuse is currently the Assistant General Counsel for eDiscovery and Information Governance at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), where they utilize over 25 years of federal district court litigation experience to develop innovative eDiscovery programs. They have a strong focus on transforming electronically stored information into strategic assets for litigation while supervising and mentoring a team of litigation support professionals. Previously, Maria held the position of Supervisory Trial Attorney at the EEOC, managing major case litigations that resulted in significant monetary relief. An active member of the legal community, they serve as the Immediate Past President of the Federal Bar Association and are engaged in educating others on the intersection of law and technology. Maria earned their Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University.
