William Tamayo is a seasoned legal expert with extensive experience in employment discrimination law. Since June 2015, William has served as the District Director for the EEOC, overseeing investigations and operations in Northern California, Northern Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana, while also conducting public speaking engagements and training on employment discrimination law developments. Prior to this role, from June 1995 to June 2015, William worked as a Regional Attorney for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, directing litigation and legal programs across various regions, securing over $300 million in settlements for discrimination victims and leading numerous public speaking and training initiatives. William holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis - School of Law.
