Nick Farina

Nick Farina has had a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2011, they served as a Board Director for Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV) for three years, where they played a key role in rebranding and digital overhaul. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Partner Consultant at Point72. In 2014, they founded GiftedHire, a career platform used by leading brands before being acquired by The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) in 2017. Following the acquisition, they became an equity Partner and Board of Directors Member of Scholar Ventures LLC, a joint venture between NSCS and other brands. In 2015, they served as an Angel Investor for Bering Science. In 2018, they joined the U.S. Quantum Industry Coalition as a Founding Member and became a Quantum Computing Governance Member for the World Economic Forum in 2021. Nick also worked as a Quantum Angel Investor for various companies, representing investments in quantum networks and teams. In 2022, they became an Advisory Council Member for the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue, a bipartisan initiative focusing on tech statecraft. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer at EeroQ Quantum Hardware, leading a team to build a universal quantum computer.

Nick Farina attended Barrington High School and obtained a High School Diploma. Nick then went on to study at Haverford College, where they earned a BA degree in a field of study related to a 3/1 program with Oxford University. In 2008-2009, Nick participated in a Visiting Student Programme (VSP) at the University of Oxford, specifically at Mansfield College, as part of the 3/1 program with Haverford College.
