Martin Laid

Martin Laid serves as the Head of Software Engineering & Solution Architecture at Eesti Energia, overseeing a department of over 170 professionals within Estonia's largest company. In addition, Martin leads the E-Lab, the digital innovation division that focuses on the introduction of new technologies throughout the organization. Martin's experience extends to Marduk Technologies as Engineering Manager, and previously, as CTO & Co-Founder of Rapidworks, where responsibilities included setting technological direction and product development. As Engineering Lead & Co-Founder at NEURISIUM, Martin provided consulting on Digitalisation and Industry 4.0 transformation for automotive manufacturers. Martin's earlier roles include R&D and Project Engineer positions at KMT Prefab OÜ and Wallenium Partition Walls Inc., as well as project engineering at Metek Aluminium Inc. Martin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Thermodynamics Engineering from TalTech.
