Konstantinos Masselos

Kostas Masselos has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Kostas is currently serving as the Chair of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) since January 2023, after previously holding the position of Vice Chair - Incoming Chair in 2022. Prior to their role in BEREC, they were the President of EETT in 2018. Kostas has also had a distinguished career in academia, where they served as a Professor and Rector at the University of Peloponnese from 2006 to 2017. In addition to their academic career, they have worked as an Independent Expert for the European Commission and as a PhD Researcher at imec.

Kostas Masselos completed their education in a chronological order. Kostas obtained their first degree, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Patras between 1989 and 1994. Kostas continued their education at The University of Manchester from 1994 to 1996, where they achieved a Master of Science (MSc) degree in VLSI Systems Engineering. Finally, from 1996 to 2000, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Patras.
