Dr William Dekker

Dr. William Dekker has a strong background in education and language learning. Dr William has worked at various companies and held several leadership positions throughout their career. Dr William started their career at AUA Language Centres in Thailand as an ESL teacher and later became the Head Teacher. Dr William then joined EF English First as the Director of Studies before moving to Chiang Mai University Language Institute as the Head Trainer. Dr. Dekker then joined EF Education First, where they have held multiple roles including Vice President of Academics and Education Services, Director of Academics and Education Services, Vice President of Learning & Curriculum Strategy, and currently serves as the Vice President of Product Innovation. In their current role, they lead a multinational team and is responsible for designing and developing digital language learning ecosystems, as well as research and development for new products. Dr. Dekker's expertise and experience have made significant contributions to the field of education and language learning.

Dr. William Dekker has a Doctor of Education degree (EdD) in Learning Sciences from the University of Calgary. Dr William also holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management in Education from Aston University. Additionally, they have a LTCL Diploma in TESOL from Trinity College London. Dr. Dekker completed their Honours BA in Anthropology at McMaster University.
