Alfredo Cafasso Vitale

Alfredo Cafasso Vitale is an accomplished tour guide and freelance journalist with extensive experience in cultural tourism, particularly in Italy and Greece. Currently leading tours for Rick Steves Europe since January 2019, Alfredo specializes in Southern Italy and Sicilian itineraries. A freelance journalist since November 2005, reporting for Radio3 and participating in PBS's Travel with Rick Steves, Alfredo also serves as a curator and has coordinated significant commemorative installations. With a strong background as a tour director for Go Ahead Tours and EF Educational Tours, Alfredo possesses a rich history in educational settings, including a contract teaching position at the University of Naples Federico II. Alfredo holds a Master's in Cultural Tourism Management and a Laurea in Electronic Engineering, complemented by study at ENSEEIHT and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
