Sean Sommerville

Sean Sommerville has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being a Visual Designer at efelle creative since September 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Visual Designer at Sommerville Designs, where they served clients in various industries such as non-profit, private business, government, education, and tourism.

Sean also gained valuable experience as a Visual Designer at Jennergy, where they managed project budgets and timelines, interfaced with clients, oversaw contractors and vendors, managed in-house IT, and developed workflow solutions. Sean had a contract role initially as a part-time support staff before evolving into a production designer.

Furthermore, Sean worked as a Sign Fabricator at Davis Sign Co. and as a Lead Graphic Designer at The Copy Shop. Sean honed their design skills and learned to work on simultaneous projects under tight deadlines. Sean also gained experience in prepress production practices.

Sean's early work experience includes positions at Central Washington University, where they served as an Art Department Photography Lab Technician and assisted students with photo processing equipment. Sean also worked as a Student BOD: Student Life and Facilities VP Assistant, providing support to the VP with scheduling meetings and events, managing the university mascot, and being involved in student boards.

Sean Sommerville completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) in General Studies from Columbia Basin College between 2007 and 2010. Sean then pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design at Central Washington University, which they obtained between 2009 and 2013.
