Joshua Schlichting

Joshua Schlichting started their work experience in 2016 as a Pool Manager at Aquatic Watch. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Lifeguard at 121 Fitness Cleveland. In 2018, they interned as a Procurement Engineer at Philips. In 2019, they were a Teaching Assistant at CWRU EECS Department, assisting students in Digital Logic Design labs and grading assignments. Joshua also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University, where they designed and built a system controller and assisted in research on the UberSpark toolchain. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Hardware Engineer at Viasat Inc. Currently, they are working as a Computer Hardware Engineer at EFFECT Photonics since 2022.

Joshua Schlichting attended Case Western Reserve University from 2016 to 2020, where they pursued a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Digital Design and Embedded Systems. In February 2017, they obtained certification as a Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross.
