Allison Whitman

Allison Whitman, LPC, currently serves as the Senior Regional Clinical Director at Effective School Solutions since August 2017, with prior roles including Regional Director and Program Coordinator. As the owner of Whitman Wellness, PLLC since April 2022 and a private practitioner at COLLABORATIVE COUNSELING GROUP since April 2021, Whitman brings extensive experience in mental health from previous positions, including Mental Health Clinician and Residential Manager at Family & Children's Aid, Inc. Whitman's clinical expertise encompasses individualized treatment planning, crisis intervention, and implementation of evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Counselor Education from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western New England University.
