Brian Kalmus

Brian Kalmus is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor in their own therapy private practice, Kalmus Counseling, since July 2024. In addition, Brian has been a Mental Health Clinician at Effective School Solutions since August 2019. Previous roles include Associate Coordinator and Mental Health Counselor in the Adolescent program at High Focus Centers from December 2008 to August 2019, as well as a Mental Health Associate, where responsibilities included facilitating therapeutic groups and providing individual support to clients. Brian's early experience included work as a Mental Health Tech at Kennedy Health System and as a Production Tech at The Comcast Network, along with freelance television production. An educational background includes a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Montclair State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University.
